Perfume Bottle Neck Sizes
The most expensive first-order mistake is not picking the wrong shape — it is mismatching the neck. A good cap will never seat on a bottle whose neck differs by a millimetre or two, and you find out only after thousands of units land.

Neck size is the outer diameter of the bottle mouth where cap, sprayer, and collar attach. It has nothing to do with capacity: a 30 ml and a 100 ml bottle can both be 15 mm. Never choose a cap based on bottle volume.
15 mm — the working standard
Most of our products use this size, which works in your favour: the widest choice of caps, sprayers, and collars, and the easiest to re-source if you ever change supplier. Absent a specific reason to deviate, start at 15 mm.
13 mm — for slimmer bottles
Used on narrower bottle shapes where a 15 mm neck would look oversized and break the proportion. Component choice is more limited than at 15 mm, so confirm the cap you want exists in this size before committing to the bottle.
18 mm — for wide-bodied bottles
The rarest of the three, used on large or wide bottles that need a broader mouth to stay proportionate. Because choice is narrowest here, confirm cap and sprayer availability first.
