Custom makes sense when the bottle shape is genuinely part of your brand identity, or when you already sell enough to clear 10,000 pcs in reasonable time. If the goal is simply to look different, laser engraving on a catalogue bottle gets you most of the way at a fraction of the cost and risk.
Minimum order for a new mould
A new bottle or cap shape needs its own mould at the factory, and moulds are expensive to cut. Because that cost has to be spread, MOQ for a new shape is 10,000 pcs. If the shape you want already has a mould at the factory, MOQ drops to 1,000 pcs.
Sample first, production after
Once the design is agreed and payment clears, the factory produces a physical sample and ships it to you. Mass production only begins after you approve it. This stage adds time, but it protects you from 10,000 units that miss what you pictured.
What to prepare
Reference photos or drawings, target capacity and dimensions, an estimated quantity, and design files if you have them. No design at all? We can produce one, charged separately from the product price.
